Your physical health is one of your greatest assets. When your health takes a tumble, all other aspects of your life often need to slow down or even stop altogether. Your life grinds to a halt because you need time to heal, to be strong enough to face the other challenges in your life head-on. You may be asking yourself; how can I live longer? How can I get in shape and stay in shape? We believe the answer is to embrace self-care!
No matter what anyone says, money is an essential part of life. Sure, millions in the bank can’t buy you happiness (or love), but as the unflappable Gene Simmons once said, “the root of all evil isn’t money; rather, it’s not having enough money.”
Spirituality and inner peace mean so many different things to each person. Each individual has a unique approach and route towards feeling a sense of calm and an inner connection with the universe.
Emotional strength can be defined as being able to distance your mind from negative thoughts within so that you can focus and be constructive and productive. Life can throw so many difficult situations your way. It can be easy to be dragged down by a bad day, a bad relationship, a situation that no longer serves you, or a toxic person.
Good relationships of all kinds, be it a friendship, romantic partnership, work-related relationship, or student-teacher relationship, are built on cornerstone foundations of trust, appreciation, and authenticity. How often have you wanted to run away from a situation because you felt you weren’t being heard? Or because no one seemed to care about your point of view? Build your relationships on solid ground by focusing on the following key factors.
Giving back can take on many shapes and forms. When you volunteer your time, talents, or even simply your income to help others, it fosters a rewarding sense of belonging to something bigger than yourself. The saying that “we get when we give” really is true.
Chapter 7 – How To Make Time For Fun
“All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” This saying may seem trite, but there’s truth to it! No one enjoys spending every waking moment of their lives focused on achievement and getting ahead, and neither do those around you if you’re doing so.
